Focus on Volunteers – Carol Wetmore

Carol Wetmore joined the Appraisal Institute of Canada as a Candidate Member in 1993 and earned her CRA designation in 2009.  She is a residential appraiser who specializes in new construction and unique properties.

Carol is the chair of the Political Action Committee.

In February 2019, Carol attended Parliament Hill with AIC where she met various MPs, talked about Bill B20, OSFI, stress tests for existing borrowers, the need for onsite inspections, and the affect that growing cannabis can have on property values.

“I was a little nervous,” says Carol of her experience, “But I think we were well received.”
